How to have a productive morning?


Mornings are the most important time of the day. They set the tone for the rest of the day. Therefore it is important to spend this time doing what matters the most to you.


Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. It is very common for us to fall off track from our goals and routines. And it is okay too.

But it is not okay to be in the mindset of letting things fall apart and wait till Monday or 1st of the month to fix things.




So, for those of you who want to take action and have a productive morning, here are my top 4 tips.



1. Start single tasking.

Multitasking is overrated. It will make you feel clumsy and you may not be able to give your best in either of the tasks.

Instead, try single tasking. This will make your morning more intentional, productive and less clumsy and irritated.



2. Plan your day the night before.

Planning your day the night before gives you an exact action plan when you wake up. This will decrease the amount of energy going into figuring out what you want to do and use it to actually take action.



3. Have enough sleep.

If there is one thing you should take away from these tips, this would be the one. This is a basic one but will make a huge difference. If you get enough sleep the night before, you will stop feeling tired and drowsy for the whole day.



4. Resist the urge to go on social media.

This is going to be the most difficult thing to do. It is hard to agree but 10 minutes of scrolling will always lead to an hour of doing nothing. Instead, start your mornings by spending time with your loved ones, reading a book or going for a walk.
